The word esculpir as a metaphor expresses the relation between life and art, time and eternity in Unamuno´s poetry and Ganivet´s works. From this point of view, the article presents their common idea of autobiographic, symbolic and idealistic theater, as well as the technical differences in their dramatic construction. Ganivet´s "El escultor de su alma" is specifically studied. | es_ES |
