Las Iglesias orientales católicas y ortodoxas en las enseñanzas del Vaticano II

Abstract

En estas líneas, nos referiremos tanto a aquellas Iglesias que mantienen una plena comunión con la Sede apostólica (Iglesias católico-orientales u orientales católicas), como aquellas que se encuentran separadas (Iglesias ortodoxas). Abordaremos también el patrimonio espiritual y litúrgico de estas Iglesias particulares, los conceptos de «rito», «Patriarcado» e «Iglesia sui iuris», las disposiciones litúrgicas propias y su relación con las Iglesias ortodoxas (en especial, las indicaciones conciliares en lo que se refiere a la communicatio in sacris con las Iglesias orientales católicas y ortodoxas), tal como lo exponen el Decreto Orientalium Ecclesiarum (1964) y otros documentos conciliares.

In these pages we refer to those Churches in full communion with the Apostolic See (Eastern Catholic Churches) as well as those that are split (Orthodox Churches). We also discuss the spiritual and liturgical patrimony of these particular Churches, the concepts of «rite», «Patriarchate» and «sui iuris Church», their own liturgical instructions of these particular Churches (specially the conciliar indications in that referred to the communicatio in sacris with these Eastern Catholic and Orthodox Churches), as are stated in the Orientalium Ecclesiarum Decree (1964) and in other conciliar documents.
