"Los jóvenes y el arte": escapismo y estética neorromántica en un grupo de intelectuales de derechas en el Madrid de preguerra

Abstract

En los años anteriores a la Guerra Civil española, algunos jóvenes escritores aristocráticos -grupo que recibió el nombre de "los jóvenes y el arte"– cultivaron una estética neorromántica, nacionalista y elitista, que puede considerarse síntoma de la crisis y la división de la España de la época. In the years preceding the Spanish Civil War, a few young aristocratic writers -"los jóvenes y el arte" was their name as a group- cultivated a nationalist and elitist Neo-Romanticism, that may be seen as a sympton of the crisis and division in the Spanish society of the time.
