Within moderniry, Charles Baudelaire has become a model of essential aspects of an aesthetic-philosophical concepiion of reality and art which has predominated since the last part of 19th century and for much of the 20th century. Thus, it is justifiable to consider his views as an intertextual antecedent of 'La hija del capitán', a modern work which, in various ways, is representative of the remaining esperpentos. To this effect, the article considers how the views of the French writer are present in a major dramatic texr written by Ramón del Valle Inclán. | es_ES |
