Dramaturgias en el inicio del milenio

Abstract

El autor expone las aportaciones dramatúrgicas de seis directores contemporáneos -Brook, Barba, Vassiliev, Mnouchkine, Wilson y Lepage-, variadas en su origen y métodos, pero unidas por el deseo de trascender la realidad, de ofrecer al espectador imágenes nuevas que le permitan adentrarse en el plano de las ideas. Estos directores de escena serán, a juicio del autor, los que ejercerán una marcada influencia en el inicio del siglo XXI. The author presents the contributions of six contemporary directors -Brook, Barba, Vassiliev, Mnouchkine, Wilson and Lepage-, of varied origins and methods, but united by their desire to transcend reality, to offer the spectator new images which allow him to enter the realm of ideas. These stage directors will, in the author's opinion, be the ones who exert a marked influence at the beginning of the 21st century.
