Apuntes para una puesta en escena de Cómo ha de ser el privado de Francisco de Quevedo

Abstract

Se trata de hacer un repaso por las líneas críticas que ha tenido la comedia Cómo ha de ser el privado y, examinando el estado actual de la cuestión, se elige una de estas líneas, que dotaría a la comedia de mayor dramaticidad, luego se ofrecen unos apuntes para la escenificación basándose en parámetros dramáticos del propio Quevedo, que lo emparentan con el teatro político de todos los tiempos y en definitiva con el teatro épico de Bertolt Brecht.

This article is a review of the criticisms that the comedy Cómo ha de ser el privado has received. It supports one of the lines of criticism that would bestow the comedy with greater dramatic significance and it furthermore offers some suggestions for its staging based on the dramatic parameters of Quevedo himself, which link the comedy with the political theater of all times and ultimately with the epic theater of Bertolt Brecht.
