Para la desconstrucción de las historias del teatro español del siglo XX

Abstract

El artículo refiere al carácter transitorio de los métodos de análisis de textos literarios, lo que también sucede con la escritura de la historia del teatro. Sostiene que todavía no se escribe una historia del teatro acorde con los criterios propios de la posmodernidad, o sea, que considere aspectos tales como la relación entre teatro y sociedad, que incluya discursos teatrales marginados por la ideología dominante, que se replantee la idea de "lo estético" o que explore el concepto de "poder" en la producción de estos discursos. Desarrolla cada uno de estos aspectos con miras a aportar las claves de una historia del teatro propia de nuestro tiempo. The article refers to the transitory character of the analytical methods of literary texts, which also occurs with the writing of the history of theater. It sustains that a history of theater has still not been written that is in agreement with the very criterion of postmodernity, or, that considers aspects such as the relation between theater and society, that includes theatrical speeches marginalized by the dominant ideology, that reconsiders the idea of "the aesthetic" or that explores the concept of "power" in the production of these discourses. It develops each of these aspects with perspectives to support the key of a history of theater within our very own time.
