La historia del primer falso Demetrio en las relaciones de sucesos publicadas en Europa Occidental entre 1605 y 1607

Abstract

El objetivo del presente artículo es el análisis comparativo de las relaciones de sucesos sobre el pretendiente Demetrio de autoría jesuita y protestante. Examinamos la manera en que las distintas actitudes ideológicas, pro o anticatólicas, de los autores dejan su huella en las piezas estudiadas y determinan tanto la forma en que se presentan los hechos históricos como la postura que estos adoptan ante la política religiosa del zar.

The aim of this article is the comparative analysis of the news pamphlets on the pretender Demetrio of Jesuit and Protestant authorship. We examine the way in which the different ideological, pro- or anti-Catholic attitudes of the authors leave their mark on the pieces studied and determine both the way in which the historical facts are presented and the position they adopt towards the religious policy of the Tsar.
