Criterios para interpretar los textos sinodales según el "De synodis" de Atanasio

Abstract

Athanasius of Alexandria wrote his work <i>De synodis</i> in 359, during a period of great theological confusion. Many synods were held in few decades and their decisions were not always coherent, and sometime contradictory. In this context, the Bishop of Alexandria tries to establish some criteria to interpret the synodical decisions. The present article aims to identify and to classify these hermeneutical criteria as they are presented in <i>De synodis</i>.

Atanasio de Alejandría escribió su obra <i>De synodis</i> en el año 359, durante un periodo de gran confusión teológica. Muchos sínodos habían sido reunidos en pocas décadas y sus decisiones no siempre eran coherentes y a veces incluso, contradictorias. En este contexto, el Obispo de Alejandría intenta establecer algunos criterios para interpretar las decisiones sinodales. El presente artículo pretende identificar y clasificar estos criterios hermenéuticos tal como son expuestos en <i>De synodis</i>.
