Secularidad y formación cristiana. Un análisis del pensamiento de Romano Guardini

Abstract

Guardini considers Christian formation as a task aimed at creating a learning attitude that differs from that of the modern setting in which Christian revelation has been left out to a great extent. This learning attitude – an arduous yet, at the same time, creative enterprise – consists in looking at and pondering the world, person, and human action in a Christian manner. This education of thinking entails the exercise of faith that gazes at the world through Christ’s eyes.

Guardini entiende la formación cristiana como una tarea dirigida a crear una actitud cognoscitiva distinta a la acostumbrada por el pensamiento moderno, que en buena medida ha dejado de lado la Revelación cristiana. Se trata de mirar y pensar el mundo, la persona y la acción humana, de una manera verdaderamente cristiana, tarea ardua y, a la vez, creativa. Se requiere una «educación del pensar basada en la fe». Esta educación del pensar consiste en el ejercicio de la fe que mira el mundo a través de los ojos de Cristo.
