La otredad en Heródoto (Hdt. IV. 23-28,1). Un análisis historiográfico, metodológico y etnográfico sobre los argipeos, isedones y arimaspos

Abstract

The aim of this project is to perform an analysis about Herodotus passage (Hdt. iv. 23-28, 1) with the purpose of specifying the methodology used by the Greek author, the phases of the narrative construction and the historical and ethnographic value of the fragment. To achieve this purpose, this article is structured as follows: a short historiographical introduction of Herodotus, a stratificated and detailed analysis about the chosen fragment and, to end with, brief conclusions.

En el presente trabajo se pretende realizar un análisis sobre el pasaje de Heródoto (Hdt. IV, 23-28, 1) con el objetivo de lograr concretar la metodología empleada por el autor griego, las fases de construcción narrativa y el valor histórico y etnográfico del mismo. Para la consecución de dicho objetivo, el trabajo se encuentra estructurado en: una breve introducción historiográfica sobre Heródoto, un análisis estratificado y detallado del pasaje referido para, finalmente, aportar unas breves conclusiones.
