dc.description.abstract | Este trabajo estudia el uso de la polifonía en noticias de los periódicos ABC, El Mundo, El País y La Vanguardia acerca de la estrategia de vacunación contra la COVID-19. Su objetivo principal es estudiar el uso de determinados elementos lingüísticos polifónicos –enunciadores y procedimientos de cita– y analizar su rentabilidad como recursos argumentativos en el género periodístico de la noticia. El estudio parte de un corpus compuesto por setenta y dos noticias publicadas desde mayo de 2020 hasta octubre de 2021 en los periódicos citados, y combina una metodología cuantitativa con un análisis cualitativo de los resultados. Los datos extraídos revelan que la polifonía se configura como un mecanismo muy productivo argumentativamente: los recursos polifónicos empleados en las noticias analizadas poseen unan gran capacidad de persuasión para mostrar posturas ideológicas y, al mismo tiempo, proteger la imagen discursiva de los interlocutores. | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | This work studies the use of polyphony in news from ABC, El Mundo, El País and La Vanguardia newspapers about the vaccination strategy against COVID-19. Its main purpose is to study the use of certain polyphonic linguistic elements –enunciators, and citation procedures – and demonstrate their profitability as argumentative resources in the journalistic genre of news. The study is based on a corpus made of seventy-two news items published from May 2020 to October 2021 in the aforementioned newspapers and combines a quantitative methodology with a qualitative analysis of the results. The extracted data reveal that polyphony is configured as a very productive argumentative mechanism: the polyphonic resources used in the analyzed news have a great persuasive capacity to show ideological positions and, at the same time, to protect the discursive image of the interlocutors. | es_ES |
