- El pulso de la Agenda Mujeres, Paz y Seguridad en su vigésimo aniversario(Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de Navarra, 2021) Cebada-Romero, A. (Alicia)After two decades of life, we are witnessing a fatigue concerning the Women, Peace and Security Agenda. Permanent members of the Security Council are being reluctant to support further developments. On the other hand, the lack of an effective implementation is undermining the confidence of the civil society in the Agenda. For the time being the WPS Agenda has been developed through the adoption of Security Council Resolutions and National Action Plans. The WPS Agenda is no longer the exclusive domain of the Security Council and, under the current circumstances, the confirmation of its nature as an instrument for human rights’ protection as well as the support of civil society are key to preserve what has been accomplished so far and and to continue to make progress in its implementation.
