- Los criptopórticos en los foros hispanorromanos: ¿Una arquitectura necesaria?(Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de Navarra, 2016) Romero-Novella, L. (Luis)We analyse here the presence of criptoportica in the Hispano‐Roman forum architecture, considering the different sites where it is possible to see these structures. Through these cases, we are going to try to establish if they fit the typological models proposed by E. M. Luschin. We are also going to study how the topography has an impact on the construction of these ensembles, and to establish if it was a necessary architecture for the development of the Hispano‐Roman fora. In addition, we are going to analyse which sort of buildings were situated in the upper stage of the substructure, in order to establish parallelisms between the different ensembles.
- Las murallas como paradigma urbano. Investigación y diacronía en "Corduba" (ss. II-VII d.C.)(Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de Navarra, 2016) Vaquerizo Gil, D. (Desiderio); Ruiz Bueno, M. (Manuel)The growing number of studies about late Roman defenses in Hispania has not involved a better understanding of the walls in the Roman province of Baetica. Consequently, the aim of this paper is to fill this gap at least partially through the analysis of the documentation found in some urban centres, with particular attention to Cordoba, the city where our archaeological research is being carried out day‐to‐day. In this paper, we will study not only those transformations identified in the wall perimeter of Corduba between the 2th and 7th centuries AD., but also their framing within the frame of Baetica and Hispania. Besides, we have also taken into account the inherited challenges of the wall‐circuits, which are especially complex in the historic cities.

In this way, our purpose is to value roman domus from architectonical but also economic and social perspectives.
