Educar en la prudencia y la justicia según la propuesta de Leonardo Polo
(Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de Navarra, 2021) Ahedo-Ruiz, J. (Josu)
The aim of the article is to show the relationship between prudence and justice of Leonardo Polo’s philosophy, which are essential virtues of human growth. Polo takes the Aristotelian concept of prudence and accepts the definition of Thomas Aquinas. One of the Polo’s contributions is that prudence is related to personal freedom. In addition, guidelines are proposed to educate prudence and justice in relation to the parts that make up these virtues. Likewise, vices contrary to prudence are pointed out. Polo concludes that no one can be fair without being prudent.
