Soluciones a la crisis del sentido de lo humano. Una aproximación a Marcel y Levinas
    (2005) Conesa-Lareo, M.D. (María Dolores)
Trying to recapture the sense of human condition, Marcel and Levinas propose two ways which are apparently similar but different in ground. Marcel interprets intersubjectivity as a getting together that transcends the objectifiying representation, while remaining at the ontological domain, as a co-esse. Levinas proposes an intersubjectivity that lies outside the limits of being, replacing the ontology with an ethics that acts as the new source of sense.

Ontología y barbarie. La recepción de Hegel en el joven Levinas
    (2003) Conesa-Lareo, M.D. (María Dolores)
According to Levinas, the philosophy of being is essentially violent because being is identified with its own negation. The Hegelian Absolute Subject is the perfect expression of the philosophy of Identity and represents the greatest violence. Levinas develops a philosophy of asymmetric inter-subjectivity as a space where difference is possible, offering an alternative to the modern subject.

    El carácter sistémico del liderazgo
    (1996) Bañares, L. (Leticia)
Man is a dynamic being, a free system. Free systems are interactive systems. Every organization is a cooperative system. In organizations the relation between manager and inferiors is an open system: management and obedience are alternative activities. Lidership is a cooperative system.

La 'cortesía' como forma de participación social
    (2003) Laspalas, J. (Javier)
The main purpose of this paper is to recover the ancient but neglected concept of politeness, and to show its utility to under-stand some dimensions and problems of our society. In the first part of the paper some weaknesses of Rousseau’s philosophy, whose ideas —in my opinion— are very influential on the contemporary crisis of courtesy norms, are discussed. In the second part, taking as a starting point the tradition of gentility, from Greek and Roman philosophy to Enlightenment, it is shown that politeness is an essential dimension of social life, whose nature and features are very similar to language.

Individualismo democrático y participación. La propuesta de Tocqueville
    (2003) Osorio, A. (Alfonso)
In democratic societies, citizens forget the link between public and private affairs, so they isolate themselves form the society. Then, a few people gather all the power in their hands, and despotism arrives. In order to keep freedom, we need to make people discover the value of political participation, by showing them, in quotidian live, their interest on public affairs.
