La Periodística y sus partes. La propuesta de Josep Maria Casasús

Abstract

La historia de la Redacción Periodística (RP) como disciplina académica, iniciada por Casasús, es todavía una tarea pendiente. En este artículo, segundo de una serie que revisa las reflexiones metadisciplinares de los distintos autores del área, se analizan precisamente las propuestas del citado autor catalán sobre la naturaleza, el objeto, las partes y la metodología de la disciplina que él mismo ha denominado Periodística. Entre otras cuestiones, la perfila en consonancia con la tradición, pero añadiendo los matices que justifican el cambio de nombre; y la subdivide en unas ramas o partes que dan idea de su amplitud, y reclaman metodologías específicas. INGLÉS: The history of Journalistic Writing (RP) as an academic discipline, initiated by Casasus, is still a pending task. This article, second in a series that reviews different authors´s reflections about the discipline, specifically discusses the Casasús’s proposals on the nature, the object, the parties and the methodology of the discipline that he himself has called Periodística (a word that have not English equivalent). The Catalan author defines it according with the tradition, but adding the nuances that justify the name change, and divides it into branches or parts which give an idea of its scope, and demand specific methodologies.
