Feminine portrait in the scope of Quevedo’s poetic influence is based on classical pictorial canons of his times. In this sense, it is necessary to assert that the poet inspires himself in painting from an essentially idealistic point of view, not leaving aside the ridiculous function, the other side of the portrait in satirical-burlesque poetry. Within these two branches it is amazing to observe the variety of feminine portraits in his poetry and the fact that their classification coincides with the different artistic representations of women. | es_ES |
