Abstract
In this work we show how formative assessment has been introduced into the Project ComunicARTE for teaching language using iPads in an elementary school. Wiliam (2013) uses the metaphor of “a bridge” to refer to formative assessment (evaluation for learning) as the necessary process for uniting the teaching by a teacher and the learning on the part of the students. Together with other colleagues, five key strategies are proposed for this type of assessment (Leahy and cols., 2005). Following their proposal, we describe each one of the activities that are requested from the students in ComunicARTE. We conclude with some lessons that have been learned from carrying out this activity in the academic courses 2014-15 and 2015-16.
