El hombre ante Dios. Comentario de Tomás de Aquino al Salmo 8, a la luz de sus fuentes

Abstract

El artículo estudia el comentario de santo Tomás de Aquino al Salmo 8 fijándose particularmente en la relación entre Dios y el hombre. Para situar mejor el pensamiento del Aquinate se recuerdan las intepretaciones anteriores, tanto de la época patrística como medieval. Una vez analizado el título del salmo y tras subrayar lo original de la exégesis de santo Tomás, se exponen los elementos de la antropología tomasiana que se desarrolla en dos direcciones: en relación con Dios y con todo el mundo creado. No puede olvidarse el enfoque cristológico, que interesa mucho a santo Tomás como magister in Sacra Pagina. ------------------------------------------------------------- The article studies the commentary of Saint Thomas Aquinas on Psalm 8, with special focus on the relation between God and men. To better place Aquinas’s thinking earlier interpretations of the patristic and medieval epochs are re- viewed. After considering Thomas’s analysis of the psalm title and noting the originality of his exegesis, the article studies the elements of thomasian anthropology in two facets: in relation with God and in relation with the created world. The Chris- tocentric approach that so interests Saint Thomas as magister in Sacra Pagina cannot be ignored.
